About Me
About Me

My name is Isabel. I'm a writer and TV development assistant. I specialise in script editing, proofreading, copywriting and pitch decks. I'm a freelancer based in London, UK.
As a screenwriter, I write comedy dramas about relationships, sex, and drugs, using sociopolitical themes of race, class and gender to highlight underrepresented voices.
I am a character-driven writer, I love characterisation and building arcs. I mostly create through realism and naturalism, as I want to reflect the people and world I live in; and I aim to bring authenticity and nuance to every project I work on
My current projects in development are a university sociopolitical stoner sitcom 'Propaganja' and a family-run coffee shop workplace mockumentary 'The C Word'.
I am a Black-British, queer, neurodivergent woman. I use she/her/they pronouns.
